The Stache is a heartfelt comedy about two university friends who take on the challenge of growing mustaches in October. For one, it’s easy. For the other… not so much. As their challenge unfolds, silly jokes give way to real tension, revealing insecurities and the quiet struggles of growing up. Behind the laughs, the film gently explores themes of friendship, loneliness, and how life doesn’t always go the way we want.
Simu is confident and easygoing. Growing a mustache is easy for him, and he takes the challenge in a relaxed way. He is patient and tries to help his friend Bob, but Simu also has his own problems with growing up and taking responsibility. Even though he seems cool and sure of himself, he is dealing with things inside that others don’t see.
MUST: Needs to be able to grow a mustache!
